Domain Considerations
Domain Setup for QuickCreator Integration
When deciding between using a subdirectory or a subdomain for your site, it’s essential to evaluate both technical and business factors. Here are some guidelines to help you make that decision:
Primary Domain Usage
• If your primary domain (e.g., https://www.example.com or https://example.com) is not currently assigned to a main site and you wish to point it directly to QuickCreator, you can simply add a CNAME record in your DNS settings pointing to ssl.mylandingpages.co. QuickCreator will handle the domain certificate, content hosting, CDN, and other related services.
Existing Primary Domain Assignments
• If your primary domain (e.g., https://www.example.com) is already assigned to a main site, your ability to use a subdirectory (e.g., www.example.com/blog) depends on how your main site is hosted and whether the hosting service supports this configuration. QuickCreator supports subdirectories with most mainstream hosting services, and specific configuration methods are available. (subdirectory)
Using a Subdomain
• If you prefer to use a subdomain (e.g., https://blog.example.com), you can add a CNAME record in your DNS settings pointing to ssl.mylandingpages.co. QuickCreator will provide certificates for the subdomain, along with content hosting, CDN, and other services.
